Fuuuuuuu
Damn you Iffy.... I hate starting.....
Kaz sank low, eyes narrowed as the shape rounded the corner. Trying to make himself as inconspicuous as possible, he backed towards the door, fingers wrapping around the smooth, worn handle of the knife. This wasn't how the day was supposed to go... And this hadn't been his target. Where had he come from???
Inhaling slowly, Kaz steeled himself, closing his eyes momentarily. This damn mission was getting out of control. Seemed like the archangels were just getting bossier and bossier. Especially that Gabriel... And everything was about God's mission or the Greater good.
What greater good rose from this? Hunting the small fries that did little more than clatter around some pots and pans and slammed doors shut? It was pathetic. Hardly worth one of Michael's warriors... He could do so much more...
His grip tightened on the knife, and his eyes snapped open. Fine. If that was the way Heaven wanted it to be, he would get it done. He whirled around the corner, green eyes flashing as he met the intruder head on.
And he froze.
This wasn't his target...

Teehee! You knooooow you love me! <3
- "Woah there, small fry!"
A taller man held up his hands in surrender as he was confronted with the sharp end of Kaz's knife. What was this kid here for? It was dangerous to be wandering around in abandoned houses. the man winced at his own thoughts. Good thing that he didn't say that out loud- it'd bring up some questions he didn't necessarily want to go into right now.
"Sorry if I startled you. Name's Dean!" He said in a friendly voice, and offered one of his hands for the other male to shake. The other hand nervously drifted to his own head, to ruffle his hot pink hair. As he dropped that hand too, his motion caused the moonlight to glimmer off the large crystal that hung from his necklace. The stone seemed to almost glow as it rested against his chest.
For a time, his gaze was fixated on Kaz, but soon it drifted up around the house. Yes, there were beings here. He could feel it. This boy too, gave him a strange feeling...but not like the others he usually encountered. He was probably just some kid, anyway. Maybe homeless and looking for a place to stay. Dean couldn't hold that against the poor guy.
Still, this place...the walls themselves seemed to breathe with energy. If only he could find the beings whom were making it so. "It's kinda late, you know. Shouldn't you be getting home?"

Kaz stared at him in disbelief, completely ignoring the later words said. 'Small fry?' He gaped, a hot flash of anger rising to his face as a blush. 'Just who does this little-' he broke off his thought, shaking his head. This wasn't the time to get hurt feelings. He was here on official business. However much that business sucked.
"Im not leaving yet," He said icily, scowling at Dean. "Job is unfinished."
With a small start, he noticed Dean's hand extended towards him. What was this. Attempted violation??? He jerked away, eyes wide.
"What are you doing here?" he asked, just as something crashed upstairs. Kaz stiffened and spun away from the odd human man, and dashed for the staircase, his bright scarlet hair looking silver as the moonlight hit it. Dammit! He'd let himself been distracted... If the Forsaken had gotten hold of the item..... Kaz cursed colorfully under his breath.
